DNA test matches no known named variety but is identical to ADTC-035 Modoc County, CA.
DNA testing (sample AFRS-078) identified this tree as [[UAF7]]. UAF7 is an as-yet unidentified named apple variety known to have been the parent of multiple other named apple varieties (UAF stands for Unknown American Founder). UAF7 is suspected to be Perry Russet. This tree is genetically identical to sample ADTC-035, an old tree in Modoc County, California.
