Heritage Apple CorpsHeritage Fruit Tree RegistryThis wiki documents heritage fruit trees (mainly apples but some pears and plums) found in historic homestead orchards across Central Oregon, primarily on public lands managed by the USDA Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management. These orchards were planted by homesteaders in the late 1800s and early 1900s, and many trees survive today as living links to our agricultural heritage. The project works to identify, document, and preserve these historic trees through genetic testing and propagation at the Clarno Arboretum. Quick Links
