The Hattie Cyrus orchard is located at the site of the Omar and Hattie Cyrus Homestead (USFS site 06070500179) on the Crooked River National Grassland, about half a mile southwest of the main Omer Cyrus Orchard.

History
The Omar and Hattie Cyrus Homestead is one of five sites associated with the Cyrus family in a roughly one-square-mile area near Gray Butte. Omar M. Cyrus was assigned land to the west of his parents' homestead in 1911, the same year his younger brother W.D. Cyrus took over their parents' property.
The Cyrus family homesteaded in the Gray Butte area starting in 1882 when Enoch and Mary Cyrus established the first homestead. Multiple family members subsequently settled nearby, creating a cluster of homesteads and orchards.
The orchard site was explored in February 2026 and found to contain 5 apple trees, of which 4 are dead and 1 is in poor condition with one surviving branch showing good growth. Scions were collected from the surviving tree.
