Description
large, contorted bole, heavy large and vigorous crown, tree (and others in vivinity) are receiving spring seepage from cattle watering trough
DNA testing (sample AFRS-078) identified this tree as UAF7. UAF7 is an as-yet unidentified named apple variety known to have been the parent of multiple other named apple varieties (UAF stands for Unknown American Founder). UAF7 is suspected to be Perry Russet. This tree is genetically identical to sample ADTC-035, an old tree in Modoc County, California.
