Raised in the nurseries of André Leroy, Angers, France. It fruited for the first time in 1862.

Fruit

Size: Medium or small.

Form: Obovate-obtuse.

Skin: Lemon-yellow, sprinkled with brown dots; seldom colored on the sun-exposed side.

Flesh: White, melting, remarkable especially for its extreme fineness.

Flavor: Juice abundant, sugary, acidulous, flavored with a delicious savor of musk.

Quality: First.

Season

Mid-September.
