Anne Ogereau
Pear"The most beautiful pear known!" Almost a counterpart of Vermont Beauty in appearance, but is larger and much earlier, ripening ahead of all others; highly esteemed in California; only the best are tolerated. Good quality; only medium size, but for a dessert pear to cut out of hand, it is large enough, and comes at a season when there is a demand for first-class pears. Its fine color, yellow almost covered with the most brilliant crimson and early ripening, make it of immense value as a show pear.
