Planted Spring 1895. Tree a vigorous grower, and moderately productive. Fruit large to very large, oblong, conical. Skin green, nearly covered with dark red, and having whitish bloom. Flesh crisp, white, juicy, sub-acid. One of the best early keepers for cooking. Season, December.
