Originated from seed by Mrs. Susan Tippet in Missouri, approximately twenty-five years before this 1900 publication (circa 1875).

Hardy, thrifty, vigorous. Round, open head. Good and regular bearer.

Fruit

Form: Roundish, flattened

Stem: Stalk short

Cavity: Deep

Calyx: Closed

Skin: Light yellow, shaded and striped with shades of deep and light red

Flesh: White, tender, juicy, mild, subacid
