According to Liegel, this variety was received from the seed beds of Van Mons. The variety is documented in Mas Pomologia Generalis, vol. 7, p. 173, fig. 567 (1881).

Skin: Bright green.

Flesh and Flavor: White, tinted with yellow, melting, abounding in rich, sugary water, vinous and pleasantly perfumed.
