Bingo was received at the Agricultural Experiment Station, University of Wyoming Horticultural Field Station, Cheyenne, Wyoming (WyC) in 1933 from D. T. Macoun at the Central Experimental Farm, Ottawa, Canada.

Form and Surface: Approximately 75% of the fruit surface is striped.

Flesh and Flavor: Green-cream in color, firm in texture, sweet with astringent notes.
