Origin and History A variety originating in Berkshire, England.

Tree Hardy, slender growth habit, productive bearer.

Fruit

Form and Size Small, roundish oblate.

Skin Dull yellow, tinged with orange, becoming deeper red in the sun, with traces of russet.

Flesh and Flavor Yellowish, firm texture. Flavor vinous and brisk.

Season October–November.
