Obtained by Simon Bouvier of Jodoigne, Belgium, a friend of Van Mons, to whom he dedicated the variety in 1828.

Fruit

Size and Form: Above medium, oval-pyriform.

Color and Surface: Bright green, dotted all over with fawn, and slightly bronzed on the side next the sun.

Flesh and Flavor: Yellowish or greenish, fine, semi-melting, crisp. Rich, sugary flavor. Juice very abundant, vinous, with a delicate aroma.

Quality: Good to very good.

Season

October to December.
