Size and Form Large; oblong and regular in form.

Skin Greenish yellow, sometimes with a faint bronze blush. Dots obscure, numerous, suffused, whitish.

Stem Very short.

Cavity Deep and regular, with a large russet patch.

Basin Very abrupt and smooth; sometimes with a few wrinkles.

Calyx Closed, with segments connivent.

Flesh and Flavor White; acid taste.

Core and Seeds Core closed and distant from the flesh. Cells elliptical and entire. Tube funnel-shaped. Stamens marginal.
