Size and Form: Below medium; roundish oblate.

Skin: Orange yellow at maturity with crimson and russety dots and spots.

Flesh and Flavor: White, firm, crisp, juicy, rich, and spicy.

Diel's Reinette. Reinette Diel. Diel Kernobst. This variety was raised by Van Mons. Tree strong, healthy, vigorous grower, and abundant bearer. Fruit below medium, roundish oblate, orange yellow at maturity, with crimson and russety dots and spots. Flesh white, firm, crisp, juicy rich, spicy. December to March.
