Origin/History The pear was obtained by M. A. Sannier of Rouen from Beurré d'Hardenpont fertilized with Doyenné du Cornice, and was introduced in 1900.

Fruit Medium or rather large, of ovate-turbinate form. Skin is fine, shining, and colored in the sun. Flesh is white, melting, juicy, and sugary, having a peculiar flavor. Quality is good.

Season December and January.
