Origin and History

A variegated form of Duchesse d'Angoulême. The origin of this variety is disputed: it was attributed in 1848 to M. Audusson, who originated the parent variety Duchesse d'Angoulême, but according to Leroy, the variegated form proceeded from his nursery in 1840.
