Color and Surface: Pale yellow ground color, slightly netted and patched with russet. Thickly sprinkled with green and russet dots. A bronzed red cheek develops in sun.

Basin: Large.

Flesh and Flavor: Whitish, slightly coarse texture. Juicy, half melting. Sweet and pleasant with vinous and slightly musky notes. Quality good to very good.

Stalk rather short, stout. Cavity broad. Calyx large, open. Basin large. Flesh whitish, a little coarse, juicy, half melting, sweet, pleasant, vinous, slightly musky. Good to very good. September.
