Origin and History
Goodhue is a seedling selection derived from open pollination of Malinda. It was received from Jewell Nursery Co., Lake City, Minnesota, and is identified as Perkins seedling #121. The variety was evaluated by the U.S. Horticultural Field Station in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and documented in the USDA survey of apple clones conducted in 1963. Station number: A32766.
