Rhineland. Described by Diel in 1804.

Fruit

Size: Very large; in. × 3 in.

Form: Hook-nosed or like the beak of a bird; crooked.

Skin: Uniformly light green, densely speckled with light brown dots and marked with russet.

Flesh: Coarse-grained, semi-melting, breaking.

Quality: Third for table and good for cooking.

Season

November and December.
