Size: Small. Form: Conical, borne in clusters. Skin: 60% stripe, with red stripes on yellow ground. Flesh: Firm, cream-colored, subacid. Quality: Good.

From Agricultural Experiment Station, Purdue University, Lafayette, Indiana:

Size: Medium-small. Form: Oblong or ovate. Skin: Thick, smooth, with slight bloom; red stripes on yellow ground. Flesh: Yellow-white, firm, coarse, juicy, mild, subacid. Quality: Good dessert.

Stem, cavity, calyx, basin, core, and seeds: Not described in source.

Season/Storage

Late October maturity (Geneva/Connecticut report). Early November to middle June storage period (Purdue report).

Fruit small, in clusters, conical, 60% stripe. Flesh firm, cream, subacid, good. Late October. Reported by the Agricultural Experiment Station, Purdue University, Lafayette, Indiana: fruit medium-small, oblong or ovate, skin thick, smooth, slightly bloom, red stripes on yellow. Flesh yellow-white, firm, coarse, juicy, mild, subacid. Good dessert. Early November–middle June. Tree resembles Golden Delicious. 2 years negative on R12740-7A.
