Apple

A new creation found by Mr. A.D. Hudson in a fence row thicket; large and conical in shape, with long stem; pear-like russet skin and color of a Bosc pear; very fine grained, buttery, more tart than a pear; annual bearer, very prolific; a better keeper than Delicious. Patent applied for.
