Southern origin. Fruit, large, oblate angular, compressed horizontally; skin, yellow, mottled, marbled, striped and shaded with crimson; stem, short, in rather large cavity; calyx, large, partially closed, in an abrupt furrowed basin; flesh, white, fine grained, tender, juicy, vinous, rich and agreeable.
