Form: Round oblong conical (Downing, Elliott); oblong conic (Thomas). Elliott additionally describes the fruit as flattened.
Stem: Short and stout (Elliott).
Cavity: Deep and open (Elliott).
Calyx: Rather large (Elliott).
Basin: Shallow (Elliott).
Skin: Pale yellowish green with faint stripes of red (Elliott). Downing describes the ground color as yellowish green with stripes of red appearing in the sun — a slight variation suggesting the red color may develop with sun exposure.
Flesh/Flavor: Greenish yellow, juicy, vinous, subacid (Elliott, Downing). Quality rated "very good" by Elliott; rated "good" by Downing and Thomas.
Core/Seeds: Core small; seeds imperfect (Elliott).
