Found in the forest approximately fifteen miles from Fredericksburg, Virginia by H.R. Robey.

Size and Form: Medium to large, roundish oblate.

Skin: Yellow, striped and splashed with bright red, sprinkled with a few brown dots.

Flesh and Flavor: Yellowish, tender, juicy, crisp, subacid. Good to very good.

Long's Red Winter.

H. R. Robey, of Fredericksburg, says this was found in the forest about fifteen miles from that place.

Fruit medium to large, roundish oblate, yellow, striped and splashed with bright red, sprinkled with a few brown dots. Flesh yellowish, tender, juicy, crisp, subacid. Good to very good. December to February.
