PearOriginated Mr. Longworth No. 1, Dubuque, Iowa. Tree a strong grower, has never been known to blight; prolific bearer; ripens in Oct.; is bearing at the present time near Bloomington. This pear is peculiarly adapted to the climate of the Northwest.
