Tree Characteristics

Very vigorous, with beautiful aspect and extremely fertile bearing habit.

Fruit Description

Size & Form: Large to very large, long-pyriform (pear-shaped, elongated), regular in outline.

Skin: Yellow ground color, streaked with carmine (deep red).

Flesh & Flavor: Yellowish flesh; excessively melting and very juicy; sugary with an exquisite perfume.

Season & Quality

Ripens in the second half of September. Rated first (first-rate; excellent quality).


Note: This variety is documented very briefly in Hedrick's work. The description emphasizes its vigor, fertility, and exceptional flavor qualities. The long-pyriform shape and red-streaked yellow skin distinguish it visually, while the excessively melting flesh and perfumed sweetness define its eating characteristics.
