Origin and History

Mayflower is a seedling raised by Dr. Shurtleff of Brookline, Massachusetts, which fruited first in 1863.

  • Size: short diameter 2½ inches, long diameter 3 inches
  • Skin: yellow, with red cheek
  • Flesh and Flavor: rather dry and firm

Season and Storage

Keeps soundly without extra care until May.
