Skin: Greenish-yellow, striped and mottled with light red, and sprinkled with brown dots.

Calyx: Closed, in a corrugated basin.

Basin: Corrugated.

Flesh & Flavor: Yellowish, rather fine, juicy, mild sub-acid. Warder and Elliott add "rich" and "aromatic" to the flavor description; Downing does not include these terms, rating the variety simply "Good." Thomas describes the flavor as "rich, mild."
