Originated at Marietta, Pa. Also known as Saylor and Libhart.
Tree
Vigorous with rather straggling growth habit. Shoots slender, dark reddish brown with slight grayish cast. Very productive.
Fruit
Size and Form: Medium; roundish oblate, slightly conic.
Skin: Yellow ground, shaded, striped, and splashed with two shades of dark rich red. Sprinkled with large, light, conspicuous dots.
Stem: Short and slender.
Calyx: Large.
Flesh and Flavor: White, tender, juicy, mild, pleasant subacid. Quality good to very good.
Core: Small.
Season
December to February.
