Origin/History

Stated by Diel to have been a gain of Van Mons.

Fruit

Size and form: Medium; spherical or spherical-conic, slightly depressed at the two poles, even in outline.

Skin: Thick and firm, of a very clear green, sprinkled with small brown dots regularly placed in a characteristic manner. At maturity the basic green passes to pale yellow, and the side next the sun becomes a little golden.

Flesh: White, rather fine, compact, breaking or semi-breaking.

Flavor and juice: Juice deficient, saccharine but wanting in perfume. Not very desirable.
