New variety of the Spitzenburg family surpassing the Spitzenburg greatly in fertility; cross between Yellow Bellflower and Esopus Spitzenburg; tree very vigorous, heavy bearer, fruit red as Spitzenburg, a little uneven as Bellflower, flavor rich, juicy, aromatic, best to eat from December until April; highest quality, highest prices.
