Originated by the late Geo. P. Peffer, Pewaukee, Wisconsin. Specimens described from E. H. S. Dartt, Owatonna, Minnesota.

Size and Form: Medium, regular, oblate.

Skin: Surface yellow, covered rather thinly with dull red splashes and stripes, mixed, overlaid with whitish. Dots white, very minute, nearly invisible.

Cavity: Regular, russeted.

Stem: Medium.

Basin: Abrupt, wrinkled.

Calyx: Closed.

Flesh and Flavor: White, juicy, fine grained, rather spicy, rich, pleasant subacid, very good.

Core and Seeds: Core closed, clasping. Tube funnel-shaped. Stamens median. Seeds large, flat.

Dartt, Owatonna, Minnesota-Fruit medium, regular, oblate; surface yellow, covered rather thinly with dull red splashes and stripes, mixed, overlaid with whitish; dots white, very minute, nearly invisible; cavity regular, russeted; stem medium; basin abrupt, wrinkled; calyx closed. Core closed, clasping; tube funnel-shaped; stamens median; seeds large, flat; flesh white, juicy, fine grained, rather spicy, rich, pleasant subacid, very good. Winter.
