Origin unknown. Received from Connecticut.

Tree

Vigorous, upright spreading growth habit. Young shoots brownish, slightly grayish.

Fruit

Size and Form: Rather large, roundish conical.

Color and Surface: Yellow ground, mostly shaded, striped, and splashed with rich red. Many whitish dots scattered over the surface.

Stem: Short stalk.

Calyx: Closed.

Flesh and Flavor: Whitish flesh, juicy, tender, pleasant subacid flavor.

Quality: Good to very good.

Season and Storage

November, December.
