Classified as a new variety by Messrs. Simon-Louis of Metz, Lorraine, in 1895. The nursery received the variety from M. Daras de Naghin, Antwerp, Belgium. Reference cited in Guide Pratique, vol. 104 (1895).

Rather vigorous and forward in growth habit. Described as fertile.

Skin: Bronze in color, washed with red on the side exposed to the sun.

Recq de Pambroye. i. Guide Prat. 104. 1895. Messrs. Simon-Louis, Metz, Lorraine, in 1895 classed this among "new varieties" and stated that they had received it from M. Daras de Naghin. Antwerp, Bel.
