First noted in Guide Pratique (1895). Placed on trial with Messrs. Simon-Louis at Metz, Lorraine, in 1895, and subsequently at Agassiz, British Columbia, and other Canadian Experiment Stations in 1900.

Tree

Pyramidal in form, very fertile.

Fruit

Very large. Skin lemon-yellow, vermilioned on the side exposed to the sun.

Flavor/Flesh

Fine, melting, acidulous; flavor recalls that of Beurré Gris.

Season

November and December.
