Fruit Medium, ovate, with uneven surface throughout. Skin at first pale water-green, sprinkled with brown dots, changing to lemon-yellow with more golden coloring on the sun-exposed side and often washed with orange-red. Flesh white, coarse, and granular, rather gritty at the core. Juice is saccharine and perfumed but rather wanting in amount.

Season September.

Uses Third for the table; good for the kitchen.
