Origin and History
An Austrian perry pear. First documented in Loschnig's Mostbirnen (1913).
Fruit
Size and Form: Medium, globular-turbinate.
Skin: Greenish to citron-yellow, slightly blushed on the sunny side, densely dotted with cinnamon.
Flesh: Yellowish, rather coarse-grained, very juicy, subacid.
Season
October.
Uses
Perry pear (cider production).
