Found in the Royal Gardens at Frogmore, and said to have been raised by Mr. Powell. It has been given up from cultivation as it is very liable to canker.

Size and form: Large; 3 by 2¼ inches; round conical, slightly irregular.
Skin: Pale yellowish-green with russet nettings.
Stem: Short and stout, in a shallow cavity.

Flesh and flavor: Soft, yellow, juicy (almost Reinette-like), sub-acid.
