From Thuringia, documented in cultivation by 1766. First recorded in literature in Dochnahl's Obstkunde (1856).
Fruit
Medium size, turbinate (top-shaped) in form, medium ventriculous (moderately ribbed or bulging). Skin greenish-yellow, turning yellowish-white at maturity, marked with rather grayish spots. Flesh semi-melting, very white, sweet with good acidity and pronounced aromatic character.

August.
