SYNONYMS. None.

A September apple which originated in Columbia county, N. Y. According to Downing (1) the tree is moderately vigorous and productive. The fruit medium, yellowish, shaded, striped and splashed with rich red; flesh white, sometimes a little stained next the skin, brisk subacid, valued for cooking. We have neither seen this variety nor received any report concerning it.
