White Spitzenberg. Origin, Northampton Co., Pa. Tree an annual productive bearer. Fruit medium, roundish oblong, yellow, interspersed with large gray dots, with a blush on the exposed sides. Stalk short, in a deep, open cavity. Calyx small, closed, narrow basin. Flesh breaking, sufficiently juicy, subacid, agreeable aroma. Good. December to March.
