Origin and History Probably a cross between Duchesse d'Angoulême and Kieffer. Introduced by Cassel Nursery, Cleveland, Ohio, about 1914.
Tree Strong and upright; productive.
Fruit Large, resembling Duchesse d'Angoulême in shape. Skin rich lemon-yellow. Flesh yellowish-white, fine-grained, rich, juicy, and sweet.
Season October to December.
