Origin/History Obtained by A. Hévault, Angers, Fr., and first published in 1870. Originally described in Revue Horticole, vol. 501, fig. 152 (1897).

Fruit

Size: Medium.

Form: Turbinate, obtuse, curved.

Skin: Golden yellow at maturity; slight greenish coloration near the summit; dotted with gray; often marbled with bronze-russet.

Flesh and flavor: White, fine, free from grit, melting, very juicy, sugary, pleasantly acid and perfumed.

Quality rating: First rate.

Season September and October.
