Origin unknown. The variety was considerably grown in Western New York during the early twentieth century, where it was esteemed valuable for its season.

Tree upright and thrifty, with productive bearing habit.
Fruit
Size and Form Medium, roundish oblate.
Skin Yellow ground color, mostly covered and indistinctly splashed and striped with dark rich red. Many conspicuous light dots.
Flesh and Flavor Flesh white, tender, juicy, pleasant, and sweet. Quality rated good to very good.
Season
September, October.
