Size and Form: Medium, oblate, regular, though sometimes unequal.

Stem: Medium length.

Cavity: Wide, regular, obtuse; much stellate russet.

Calyx: Closed; segments long, pointed, and divergent.

Basin: Shallow, ribbed.

Skin: Pale yellow, becoming nearly white at maturity. Dots very obscure, white, suffused throughout; many in number.

Flesh: White, juicy, acid.

Core: Wide open; cells ovate and entire; tube funnel-shaped; stamens median.

Seeds: About nine, plump.

Quality: Fair.

Season

Early August.
