Origin/History Originated with Jacob Moore of Brighton, New York, as a cross between Bartlett and Seckel. Also known as Bar Seckel and Columbia.

Tree Hardy, vigorous, and productive.

Fruit Size: Above medium. Form: Oblong-pyriform. Skin: Yellow shaded with bright red. Flesh: Juicy, melting, with a pleasant vinous flavor. Quality: Good. Stem, cavity, calyx, basin, and core/seeds: Not described in source.
