A seedling hybrid created by M. Arsène Sannier, a nurseryman at Saint-Sever-Rouen, France, from a cross of Doyenné d'Alençon and Beurré Henri Courcelle. Placed on the market in 1907.

Fruit

Size & Form: Medium; oval, conforming to the form of the Doyenné d'Alençon.

Skin: Gray.

Flesh & Flavor: Extremely fine texture with a very agreeable perfume.
