Origin/History Origin New York; specimen obtained from Mr. E. H. Warren, of Chelmsford, Massachusetts.

Fruit Medium, flat, uneven form. Skin greenish-yellow, mixed, striped, and splashed with bright red; dots numerous, distinct, yellow, and indented. Basin shallow and folded; eye small and closed; axis short. Cavity wide, deep, wavy, and brown; stem short, thick, and knobby. Core rather wide, closed, and rather clasping; seeds large. Flesh white, firm, and juicy.

Flavor & Quality Acid and rich flavor. Quality pretty good.

Season & Uses Season December. Use: table and market.
